Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 | Rockville, Maryland, United States worked on a biotech solution to automate timely mixing of bio specimens using a gantry system and a robotic arm, with software in the dot.net environment. ### Research Assistant @ UMD Department of Computer Science Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | College Park, Maryland, United States Designed and fabricated a mobile manipulator with the UR5 robotic arm and HTC Vive virtual reality headset hardware for real-time haptic feedback in the virtual world. Evaluated safety metrics for Human Robot Interaction. Integrated the rover part with ROS, used real-time encoder feedback, VR Transducer and lidar to map the environment, Integrated all the measurements above using a Kalman Filter to get best estimate of robot pose, used a modified RRT*-smart algorithm for path planning for the rover and MoveIt for UR5 arm. ### Robotics Software Intern @ Humatics Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 | Waltham, Massachusetts, United States Worked on an indoor micro-location system (xyz position) with sub-mm accuracy for industrial environments.  Built a simulation/visualization engine using Unity3D, communicated with the sensor system using UDP, REST.
