I am a graduate student enrolled in the robotics program at the university of Maryland College Park. I am a robotics enthusiast and innovation driven, these abilities helped me in co-founding a one of its kind sports robotics company called PSP Bowling machines in India. I have always looked at all problems that we see in daily life as an opportunity for me to come up with a solution which really keeps my mind engaged in creative fields like design, programming, strategic planning, math etc.

worked on a biotech solution to automate timely mixing of bio specimens using a gantry system and a robotic arm, with software in the dot.net environment.

### Research Assistant @ UMD Department of Computer Science

Designed and fabricated a mobile manipulator with the UR5 robotic arm and HTC Vive virtual reality headset hardware for real-time haptic feedback in the virtual world. 
Evaluated safety metrics for Human Robot Interaction.
Integrated the rover part with ROS, used real-time encoder feedback, VR Transducer and lidar to map the environment, Integrated all the measurements above using a Kalman Filter to get best estimate of robot pose, used a modified RRT*-smart algorithm for path planning for the rover and MoveIt for UR5 arm.

### Robotics Software Intern @ Humatics

Worked on an indoor micro-location system (xyz position) with sub-mm accuracy for industrial environments. 

Built a simulation/visualization engine using Unity3D, communicated with the sensor system using UDP, REST. Extended position estimation to full 6dof pose estimation using variant of ICP algorithm.

### Mechatronics Engineer @ PSP Bowling Machines

Built a high-powered system capable of shooting tennis,cricket balls etc. at highest speeds of 85mph with high precision of pitching the ball with swing and spin, using actuators spinning at 4000rpm at 2Nm torque
Designed and fabricated a 4dof positioning system using a combination of parallel manipulators and turn-table mechanisms for accurate positioning of the system to the order of 0.1mm(height) and 0.1 deg(rpy)
Worked with an incubator called RIIDL-Mumbai for patent registration and product launch.
