• Responsible for all design, prototyping, thermal testing and low-fidelity simulation of plastic and sheet metal enclosures.
• Designed power distribution panels, including busbars and accessories, for solar home systems in accordance with IEC standards.
• Lead engineer for making all design improvements to ensure manufacturability and robustness of injection molded plastic parts and enclosures on a newly released product Flex Max (https://zolaelectric.com/solutions/zola-flex-max/).
• Develop test plans for thermal characterization of energy storage systems.
• Coordinate with Asian contract manufacturers to conduct root cause analysis, formulate CAPA plans, and review cpk reports.
• Documented manufacturing operations plans and authored inspection instructions for production and packaging and FAI.
• Take part in DFM reviews, and mold flow analysis reviews with Asian contract manufacturers.
• Proficient in design, FEA, tolerance analyses, fit checks, and 2D drawing generation using Solidworks.
