Technology Leader and Chief Development Expert with an excellent track record of delivering scalable and high-performance database management systems for enterprise customers. As a key member of the SAP Database (ASE, IQ and HANA) technical leadership team, I contribute to technical product directions enabling our customers to best run their business. I extended the reach of the HANA in-memory database with the release of HANA Native Storage Engine (NSE) for data tiering solutions and provided lower TCO for cloud deployments. 

I managed the Server Performance Engineering and Development (SPeeD) team for Sybase OLTP, OLAP and Replication products with many successful publications of world record TPC-C for ASE, TPC-H for IQ. I catalyzed industry-leading benchmark results for SAP Business Suite on SAP ASE. I enhanced ASE performance to scale both vertically and horizontally. I designed and implemented various performance features in the areas of buffer cache, transaction systems, lock manager, access methods, recovery systems, kernel, and process scheduling.
