As a Product Design Manager I support a team of incredible product designers focused on creating powerful tools for Meta Business Suite that serve both businesses and creators. ### Product Design Manager @ eBay Jan 2016 – Jan 2020 | San Francisco, California, United States As a Product Design Manager at eBay I led a fantastic team of UX, Visual, and Motion designers focused on creating amazing Buyer Experiences for the world's largest online marketplace. I was also a Product Design Manager in eBay's New Product Development organization where I led a design team that launched a fully localized, multi-platform, end-to-end eBay shopping experience for China. Prior to transitioning to people leadership, I was a Lead Product Designer on eBay's New Product Development team (June 2016-April 2017) where our goal was bringing the next 100 million customers to eBay. Our first project was eBay ShopBot, a smart personal shopping assistant that helps you find exactly what you are looking for. ### Lead UX Designer @ Apple Jan 2014 – Jan 2016 | San Francisco Bay Area As a lead designer at Apple I worked on a variety of exciting projects, primarily the design and launch of Apple Music (June 2015), and its subsequent redesign (2016). I led feature design for user onboarding, subscription, and retention. I also led design for 3rd party integrations for Sonos, and Apple Music features for Artists. Prior to joining Apple, I worked at Beats Music for 5 months. Beats Music was acquired by Apple. ### Lead UX Designer @ Samsung Electronics Jan 2010 – Jan 2014 | San Francisco Bay Area & Los Angeles As a lead designer at Samsung I envisioned, managed, and executed, research and strategy driven mobile UX concept design projects. I worked on 8 mobile UX projects with a focus on future smart phone, tablet, smart camera, Smart TV, and wearable experiences in the Galaxy product family. As member of the original Gear Fit product team I helped design Samsung's award winning curved screen wearable device. Additionally, I managed, designed, and led UI design and specifications for 24 North American production lineup smartphone models. ### Design Research & Strategy Associate @ Samsung Electronics America Jan 2009 – Jan 2010 | Greater Los Angeles Area As a part of my graduate capstone course, I led strategy and research efforts in developing 2 product concepts: CUE (2009), is a product concept designed for the modern family that enables dynamic communication and shared entertainment experiences. Represented Samsung Design America at an internal global design competition and was awarded the bronze prize. TOME (2010), a dual screen tablet product designed for the Higher Education market, that enables students, educators, and administrators to seamlessly learn, teach, and collaborate. The UX design inspired features implemented in the Galaxy Note products (smartphone, tablets) ### Design Strategy Consultant @ Various Clients Jan 2007 – Jan 2010 | Greater Chicago Area I worked as a Design Strategy Consultant for a variety of clients including The City of Chicago, LifeFitness, Teague, Swingline, and The Illinois Institute of Technology amongst others. ### Marketing Manager @ S&P Global Ratings Jan 2005 – Jan 2007 | Greater New York City Area Led marketing initiatives across Structured and Public Finance sectors, working closely with the Global Market and Product Development teams. Oversaw strategy, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including advertising programs aligned with product offerings, market dynamics, and competitive positioning. Played a key role in enhancing the visibility and adoption of S&P’s web and desktop-based analytical tools. Previously served in the Public Finance division in S&P’s Chicago office, where I provided credit ratings and analysis to state and local government entities.
