Contributed to the ArcOS network operating system on the protocols team, focusing on IS-IS debuggability and observability:

• Implemented new CLI commands in IS-IS by extending ConfD/YANG models and avl tree data structures to expose TLV-137 mappings, enabling engineers to resolve system IDs into human-readable hostnames.

• Built fine-grained IS-IS debug filters with CLI integration, allowing targeted tracing of prefixes, metric updates, and route contributors, significantly reducing log noise during troubleshooting.

• Collaborated with senior engineers on protocol internals, working with low-level C code, ConfD/YANG callbacks, and AVL tree data structures, gaining hands-on experience in performance-sensitive debugging in large-scale routing systems.

• Engineered end-to-end image processing pipelines to segment and longitudinally quantify hydroxyapatite (HAP) deposits in RPE from high-resolution mouse and porcine microscopy datasets, processing >10,000 images over a 13-week time course to reveal deposition kinetics.
