Led a cross-functional team of 5 engineers to architect and scale the end-to-end AI Assistant ecosystem for the Smart Home, balancing technical excellence with product vision.
1. Responsible for the full-stack user journey, integrating Speech-to-Text (STT), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), multi-modal query execution across local and cloud environments, and the final Text-to-speech (TTS)
2. Designed and evolved the core Smart Home Data Model and high-throughput pipelines, enabling the system to reason over complex, multi-device home topologies with tens of millions of smart home devices.
3. Spearheaded the design and governance of public-facing Home APIs, enabling seamless integration for thousands of 3rd-party device partners and expanding the Google Home footprint.
