Final project was to implement the audit log feature for service requests, transforming it from difficult-to-parse blocks of text into an indispensable tool that could simply follow the story of any service request as it was passed from technician to technician.

Growth / User Experience Engineer on the Acquisition team driving features centered around acquisition and growth of the Hired.com job marketplace. Hired.com stands out as a marketplace that limits signups to candidates who already have matching roles, and across a select set of industries, guaranteeing high quality and quantity of matches for both job-seekers and recruiters.
Rewrote the monolith Rails Hired app onboarding experience in React with an updated responsive (mobile-friendly) design. Increased qualified onboarded candidates by around 15%, and candidates who went on to have at least three interviews by around 5%, exceeding project expectations.
First frontend engineer IC hired to build NGINX Controller, a complex GUI for control/configuration of NGINX, helping to overcome various technical and UX-related challenges. Yes, we all had to learn how to set up and provision NGINX instances. (As well as use cases such as load balancing and deployment swaps.) Was put through official NGINX training classes.
Co-hosted the keynote presentation that introduced Controller to the world at NGINXConf 2017. Unfortunately removed from YouTube when that version of the product was discontinued.
