I’m a software engineer with over a decade of experience investing in my growth across consulting, product development, data platforms, and people leadership. I’ve worked across a wide range of domains and tech stacks, including time consulting at Pivotal Labs where I partnered closely with teams to build scalable systems, navigate ambiguity, and deliver real business outcomes.

Along the way, I explored engineering management, leading and mentoring teams while remaining hands on with system design and implementation. • Directed the transformation of pricing data architecture, transitioning from a rigid MDM model to a shared services approach for scalable and performant data consumption by diverse stakeholders
• Eliminated architectural bottlenecks that limited data update volume and cadence, enabling virtually uncapped, granular data flows from optimization to execution

Pivotal was acquired by VMWare at the end of 2019. Spent roughly 70% of my time coding, 30% of my time managing.

Coding:
• Developed the backend to support installment payment plans for a major bank and retail partner that successfully processed over $1M in sales on the first day
• Enabled client teams to operate in an XP manner through pair programming, test-driven development, weekly iteration planning meetings, retrospectives, and a healthy collaboration between designers, product managers, and engineers
• Led a team of 4 developers to build an Android app that facilitates the coordination of group bike rides and connects to a Bluetooth sensor for safety features (Kotlin)
• Led a team of 6 developers to integrate with a team in Ireland and ramp up on the codebase, Java/Spring & Angular, and XP practices.
