It provided comprehensive multi-dimensional and hierarchical performance reports with interactive map locations. It also incorporates with streaming events and time series data. • Developed a full-fledged Uverse network monitoring and management portal which delivers real time performance stats and analytics from wide range of network components, devices and 3rd party system(geo location and weather service) for business intelligence. Integration with Kafka for both producer and consumer services. • Developed multiple batch processes which includes collecting, processing and aggregating network performance data from a wide range of internet devices. •Created an interactive web tool to support Uverse technicians for ABJack installation work flow which includes multiple steps and heavy interactions with remote network devices. The web tool includes step by step guidance and interactions with remote devices via REST APIs to gather/calculate digital signature. •Worked closely with EE engineers and created an innovative Single Ended Loop Test tool/REST API which can detect and locate fault or tap in the cable during last mile transmission. It applied multiple math transformations/noise reduction and fault detection algorithms to handle most of physical conditions in wireline network. • Developed and customized AT&T Global Log-On Servlet Filter for web tool and XML interface authentication, multi-level authorization for designated URLs and with customizable response header. •Led a group of four developers, developed a set of mobility field test tools (FTP, UDP and HTTP Download) including aggregated test result web reporting features, which are widely used by RAN engineers for mobility drive tests. ### Senior Member Of Technical Staff @ AT&T Jan 2007 – Jan 2009 | San Francisco Bay Area • Designed and developed several U-verse troubleshooting and historical tools which encompassed various access network technologies and services: Near real time Uverse TV Audio/Video Performance Report with multi-level aggregations and integrations of JAX-WS web service and IBM MQ, developed a set of web service APIs for performing CRUD operations for dispatch tickets. • Developed xDSL analysis library which provides critical broadband analytics for field ops, including cross talk/radio interference/bridged tap detection. • Developed first mobile version of BBT web tools for iPad and iPhone. ### Technical Architect @ AT&T Jan 2004 – Jan 2007 • Led the development for INSIGHT, Network Capacity and Inventory Management System, which provides both bandwidth and inventory capacity overviews for equipment and circuit connections. Grouped by various network technologies, it gives multiple level drilldowns over national geographical area, while at each level, rich reporting capabilities, such as searching, charting and multiple column sorting are provided. • Designed and developed APOC, ADSL Office Capacity Planning and Management System, full-fledged web application for operations to plan and manage the capacity of DSL offices located in SBC13 states and automate the equipment acquisition process with location based configurations. User-Authorization is enforced with customized admin views based on roles. It also enables configurable trending rate and metrics to adjust work flow with seasonal events. Multi-dimensional aggregated reports, historical trending and tailored reports are provided to meet various business needs. ## Education ### Master of Science - MS in Computer Science Fudan University ### Bachelor of Science - BS in Computer Science Fudan University ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/rachel-rong-wu-49197134 --- Source: https://flows.cv/rachelrongwu JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/rachelrongwu/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-12
