Responsibilities and Project Details

Designing user interfaces for mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows 8) for consumers as well as corporate clients. I have created numerous applications currently deployed in domains such as manufacturing, banking, pharmaceutical and field service management.

My roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Gathering and evaluating end-user and business requirements.
- Conducting focus group studies and designing questionnaires for user research.
- Bringing in expertise knowledge, about current UX trends/ practices and being up to date in interface guidelines and related publications.
- Wire framing and designing pixel-perfect prototypes for applications. 
- Providing Usability Expert reviews and testing methodologies when required.
- Prototyping using tools such as Axure, iRise, Powerpoint to demonstrate interactions and use cases.

My project dealt with investigating and understanding the needs of rural India in terms of energy requirement. The primary task was to understand rural aspirations and technology adoption behaviour.

My role required me to:

- Implement design methodology and project planning skills
- Travel to remote locations and carry out ethnography studies.
- Conduct and participate in workshops for ideation. Participate in concept generation and strategy formation.
