• Designed and implemented internal communications orchestration system, using Scala, that allows content moderators and public Twitter users to interact.

• Part of initial team to adopt AWS SES, using Terraform at Twitter.

• Helped improve and maintain other privacy health services used by agents for content moderation.

• Responsible for triaging and mitigating operational incidents as part of an on-call rotation.

• Designed and developed a high-volume distributed API platform following a RESTful microservices pattern - used Java Spring boot, Python, PostgreSQL, Kafka and Docker.

• Extensively leveraged AWS Lambda and AWS ECS to improve service performance by > 80%.

• Implemented Resilience4j circuit breakers to improve resiliency across the platform.

• Integrated Elastic APMs for observability and traceability across services.

• Leveraged Spring Cloud backed by AWS Systems Manager for efficient configuration management.

• Developed CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform to automate deployment of over 40 microservices.

• Helped develop and maintain companywide Java framework and Terraform modules, used by more than 20 other teams.

• As a technical lead, mentored junior engineers and helped them grow their technical skills.

• Won the 2021 internal hackathon by building a reverse auctioning platform for our mortgage services network.
