This improved the platform and enabled meter owners to manage meters themselves. ### Associate Software Development Engineer @ Tesco Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 | Bengaluru Area, India • Designed and developed the Availability API from scratch, using java and spring. It gives out availability of 100 million+ product-location combinations per week, across all 7000 stores and warehouses. • Analysed the technology architecture of the team, and proposed building a custom distributed scheduler to eliminate stock event loss. Delivered - Stock Scheduler, using kafka, spring and couchbase. • Owned Sales Ingestion, a microservice that consumes sales transactions happening in all 7000 retail stores of Tesco. Its capable of handling 70 million+ transactions per day. Used both multi-threading and multiple instances to handle the load. • Contributed to the development of Supply Service, a microservice which is at core of book stock keeping of Tesco. It consumes around 36 store transactions and performs 3.5 billion CRUD operations per week on database. • Established a robust and reusable Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline using jenkins, for the team including setup of all the required infrastructure. Integrated it with enterprise code coverage and security check tools like sonarqube and coverity. • Setup multiple logging and monitoring dashboards using tools like splunk and appdynamics. It gave stock events analytics and overall picture of running sytems. ### Student Trainee @ Samsung India Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Bengaluru Area, India • Contributed to development of an augmented reality tool for Samsung camera module, to add various stickers and emoticons on live cellular video calls. • Developed the backend of video enhancement and recording feature of the Media Verification Test Suite App, which simulates calls between various mobile networks.
