Leveraged extensive expertise to operate effectively and successfully on two projects while with the company.
Project 1: Now Support Portal
•
Led all aspects of developing a web application through the employment of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and ServiceNow platform for the backend.
•
Developed the portal to allow all customers of ServiceNow to administer, upgrade, and retire their instances with ServiceNow.
•
Provided support to customers with this portal, allowing them to raise cases for the issues they are facing with their instances or to raise cases pertaining to any ServiceNow-related queries.
•
Oversaw the creation and development of a wide range of modules, including Instance Management (status of instance, downtimes of instance, performance of instance, health of instance), Help Center (to support customers in finding documentation, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge articles), and Feedback Module (customer surveys and feedback forms).
•
Played a key role by operating primarily on the front-end development of the modules during my operations.
Project 2: Customer Communication Framework
•
Spearheaded the development of this framework to send bulk notifications to all ServiceNow customers and internal users to notify them of their instances and upgrades.
•
Effectively used JavaScript and the ServiceNow platform as the backend to develop this framework.
•
Carried out the application development to allow it to effectively deal with the data of all of ServiceNow’s customers.
•
Focused on developing this framework to be high-performing for creating notifications for all users in different channels, including email and SMS.
Closely collaborated and communicated with a remote team for Sojern, a company involved in ad-tech for hotels and flights.
Alerts and Notifications Project:
•
Utilized Golang in the development of three micro-services for processing alerts, storing them, and sending them to the customers and internal users in their preferred channels, including email, mobile, web portal, and Slack.
•
Served in an integral role by developing this project as a scalable service that was initially implemented for internal usage, as well as building it in a such a way that it could be extended for customer notifications at a later stage.
•
Carried out the incorporation of the notification’s part into the web portal by using ReactJS, a dashboard for checking all notifications received in the web portal.
Served in the internship as part of my undergraduate curriculum before being hired as a full-stack developer in recognition of my skills and abilities.
•
Tasked with operating on a project called ANA, the world’s first open-source chatbot framework, to allow anyone to build a chatbot and deploy one to their website.
•
Created and developed the entire frontend portal through the utilization of Angular to allow the customers to track the leads that they receive from the chatbot on their website.
•
Oversaw the creation and development of APIs to fetch the bot events data from MySQL databases.
