At Shopify, I worked on a dimensional model builder used by the Analysts to create refined, production ready data. I worked on tooling to retain datasets from being deleted by our cleaner with Test Driven Development, general tooling for the API, as well as a job for benchmarking incrementally produced and read datasets. Our API was a wrapper on top of PySpark and we also used tools such as HDFS, Google Cloud Platform, Hue, Yarn, and Oozie for deployment and operation.
