Built new features for coins across the whole stack, integrated new coins and tokens, and built internal tooling to better track errors related to coin offerings ### Consultant || Software Developer @ IBM Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | New York City, New York Working as a consultant and a software developer in the Blockchain practice under IBM Global Business Services. Clients + Projects: - OpenIDL: Blockchain solution for insurance regulatory reporting for a large insurance company - TradeLens: Blockchain solution to track worldwide shipping for major ocean carriers - Excelsior Pass: New York's state vaccination pass. ### Intern @ Alpaca Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco Bay Area Alpaca is a venture-backed, fintech startup that offers commission-free algorithmic trading. Designed and implemented an open-source robo advisor in Python. Collected historical market data, created an optimal frontier for investment portfolio allocation with backtesting tools (Quantopian API and Zipline). Packaged and available as a Docker container. Wrote several well received articles on the online publication HackerNoon. Internship was extended through the school year to co-found AlpacaEDU, a community for student traders that fosters peer-to-peer learning. Organized campus ambassador structure, Slack, Subreddit, and a Medium Publication to encourage communication. ### Bard Summer Research Fellow @ Bard College Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Annandale-on-Hudson, New York Invitation-only research opportunity for select students. Designed and implemented a program to model adinkras - single-dimensional representations of multi-dimensional objects - on a team led by Dr. Stefan Mendez-Diez. Group theory calculations in GAP, adinkra graph visualizations in Python using PyGraphViz and MatplotLib. Used SQLite to store graph information to speed construction for large graphs. ### Internet of Things Intern @ Talumbra Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | San Jose, CA Assisted in creating a secure IoT product prototype. Used Microsoft Azure’s IoT Gateway and Python-SDK to integrate physical devices (Raspberry Pis) with virtual machines into a single IoT network. Owned demo packaging and knowledge transfer to customer - wrote bash scripts for simple single-command hosted operation, tested in multiple environments, documented operation and transferred to customer. ### Intern @ Benenson Strategy Group Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Greater Los Angeles Area BSG is a prominent Democratic pollster. Qualitative tasks included investigating and writing background research reports for BSG clients, poll proofing for associates, and summarizing daily polling data reports based. Quantitative tasks included using Excel macros to clean and organize data sets, running linear and logistic regression on polling data, and writing Python scripts to query through focus group responses. ### Test Engineering Intern @ Netronome Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Santa Clara, CA Netronome produces network flow processors ASICs and Smart NICs (Network Interface Cards), used in cloud data centers and appliances. Interned on a team testing the patented SmartNIC solution. Designed and implemented a series of tests using P4, a SmartNIC programming language. Filed bugs using JIRA and reproduced with the debugging team in South Africa. Documented all tests in for later internal use. ### Research Intern @ Bard College, Center for the Study of the Drone Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 | New York, NY The Bard CSD explores the continued social and technological effect of commercial drones Contributed to compiling a database of FAA commercial exemptions. Read through exemption reports and recorded pertinent information.
