# Raquel Joseph > Software Engineer at Clever Location: Brooklyn, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/raqueljoseph Growing up, software engineering has always been my passion. My first memory of coding was building my own Minecraft server, which fascinated me because I could customize it to enhance my gaming experience. This sparked a deep interest, leading me to learn web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and eventually explore backend languages like Python, Ruby, and Go. Discovering Git and GitHub opened up a new world for me; I could now save and share my projects, which motivated me to create anything I could think of. Since then, I’ve eagerly pursued new programming languages, frameworks, and principles to weave into my coding knowledge. This passion carried me through my education at Boston University, and it remains with me in my career. I’ve found that coding is not only a skill but a way to creatively solve problems and bring ideas to life. Working on diverse projects has taught me the importance of collaboration and adaptability, both of which have strengthened my technical abilities. My goal is to share this enthusiasm with others and help them explore the world of coding in the same exciting way I did. I’m excited to continue expanding my expertise in software engineering, collaborating on innovative projects, and helping others discover the power of coding. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Clever Inc.
