I've been a product designer for about 12 years, mostly at startups in the Bay Area. Started in graphic design, taught myself to code, and ended up spending most of my career figuring out how to make complex things feel simple.

My wife is active duty military. Last year we bought a new construction home in Alabama and I got to experience the upgrade selections process firsthand. It was a pdf and a 4 hour appointment. I spent the whole time guessing what things would look like. So I built something that would actually show me, and I ended up spending 40% more on upgrades because I could finally see what I was picking.

That's Finch. Now I'm building it for home builders.
