I was brought on as the junior developer in the 3-developer WebApp team in January 2017. JoeZoo was at the time available only as a Google Docs Add on - and I was brought in to be part of the team to develop their first stand-alone web app. -Prototyped POC to validate assumptions and fit of React+Flux+MDL for JoeZoo WebApp feature set as defined by product owner. The POC was a critical component in JoeZoo’s (successful) seed-round fund raising efforts. -Developed first version of the JoeZoo WebApp using React + Flux on NodeJS+Webpack, MDL Lite and ES6. -JoeZoo WebApp went live in October ‘16 and is used by teachers to build and manage teacher assets (rubrics, assignments, classes) for giving feedback to & grading student assignments using the JoeZoo express Google Docs add-on. -Was made feature-set owner of the Rubric Builder tool in JoeZoo. This tool is the most used teacher tool in the latest version of JoeZoo(as of Jan 2017) -Integrated Google Web Sign-In based Authentication and integrated with JoeZoo REST API -Used Webpack v1.12 as module builder and Grunt v1 as task runner. -In recent versions, participated in the move of the app away from MDL-based UI to JoeZoo’s own custom responsive design, migration from raw CSS to use of LESS for better styles organization. -Conducted API testing using Postman. -Performed intensive cross browser testing ensuring compatibility for the web application in Chrome and Safari. -Performed integration testing with Google Add-on team and test teams. -I was the only remote member of the JoeZoo Engineering team.
