• Part of development team to create VR application to access the Special Collections & Archives Department at UCSC

• The Special Collections & Archives Department at UCSC contains old artifacts and material dating back to the 1920s. Students have access to this department to use the material for research and projects, but there is a risk of damaging or losing the artifact. To avoid this risk, the technology team I am part of at the Digital Scholarship Commons is developing a Virtual Reality application using Unity 3D to project the artifacts into the VR system so students can interact with the artifact without causing any damage.
