Added support for new persistence backend using Postgres and tooling for migrating older shards. - Certificate lifecycle management: Used Certmgr, Vault to automate lifecycle management of certs across the fleet spanning all 300 data centers. Also managed an internal service for scanning all codebases, and databases to identify expiring certs and generate alerts using Prometheus which automatically creates tracking Jira tickets. ### Mentor @ San Francisco State University Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 ### Backend Intern @ Whist Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 - Worked on making the deployment faster, reduced the downtime for an inventory upgrade from 10 minutes to few seconds through few architectural changes. - Led few initiatives to improve the observability by building performance monitoring dashboards and centralized logging for all the services at Fractal. ### Software Engineer II @ Electronic Arts (EA) Jan 2015 – Jan 2019 | Hyderabad Area, India - Designed and built observability infrastructure for the stream processing pipeline that powers error analytics that processes millions of game crashes per day using Istio, Kubernetes, Jaeger, Prometheus and Grafana. - Worked with teams from FIFA and Nintendo to design and develop a pipeline that pulls crash information from Nintendo Crash Reporting System and pushes to EA's crash analytics platform. - Designed, developed and led the efforts for building a ticketing system used by game developers across game studios for provisioning internal gameplay services. Used NodeJS for the backend, integrated with OKTA SSO and ReactJS for the frontend using components from BlueprintJS and an internal component library. - Added features to a legacy JAVA application that uses a in-house web framework to support storing semi-structured data, used MongoDB and MySQL as the data stores, AngularJS for frontend. - Worked on Risk assessments for Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, Mass Effect: Andromeda with Bioware, DICE studios and multiple teams within EADP. Worked with Game QA's to understand the game mechanics and the subsequent API calls, used tools like Gatling and Locust to create millions of synthetic players, loaded the database with synthetic data generated from friendster and other tools, ran the load tests with the projected launch capacity, worked with game teams to identify and fix the bottleneck found. ### Software Engineer I @ Electronic Arts (EA) Jan 2013 – Jan 2015 - Design and development of Friendster, an application for creating a synthetic association graph among simulated players. Modelled using data captured from previous SIMS, Mass Effect and Mirror's edge production databases, friendster achieves a runtime of ~2 minutes for 10M players. - Worked with Bioware, EADP services teams for the launch risk assessment of Dragon Age: Keep, the companion website for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
