Leading design for Risk

I currently manage our mortgage product design team, spanning the consumer-facing application (responsive web) and enterprise-facing experiences for loan approval (web & mobile), lead management, and administration.

• Grew a team of 2 to 7 designers, overseing the transition from a growth-stage startup to post-IPO

• Increased our enterprise user base from 30k to 70k DAU

• Oversaw design expansion of single to multiple product lines, spanning in-house and marketplace offerings

Joined as a product design lead, and after a year I founded user research practice & team and scaled it to two user researchers supporting product and go-to-market teams.

• Foundational research supported two 0 to 1 projects: our native mobile app for loan officers and a new loan scenarios feature

• Usability findings resulted in document request feature redesign, which resulted in an increase of 18% users and 6x more documents sent

Led a team of 7 engineers and designers to release the user experience of our first post-acquisition (Platfora) data platform, Workday Prism Analytics. This involved leading scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives), designing the user interface, cross-team alignment of our UI components with the larger Workday Canvas design system, and running user interviews to solicit feedback.
