I'm developing Pilot's bookkeeping service built on proprietary software with automation that guides dedicated financial experts to deliver consistent and high-quality customer experiences! I work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to prioritize business and customer needs, deconstruct complex systems, and nurture design solutions with a human-centered mindset across all service touchpoints. ### Senior Design Lead @ Yohana Jan 2020 – Jan 2022 A wellness company in partnership with Panasonic creating services and products to make life easier for modern families. I led product and design development of internal services and tools that power the Yohana Membership and Yohana Network. I worked on connecting multiple service touch points in close collaboration with Salesforce and web engineers, data scientists, ux research, commercial/ops teams, and our dedicated team of internal assistants and specialists to deliver meaningful outcomes. Shipped nationwide in the US and Japan. ### Senior Designer, Microsoft Windows and devices @ Microsoft Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 Designed the next generation of Windows OS, Surface devices, and Cloud! I enjoyed the challenge of reshaping and reimagining some of the most iconic Windows UI and UX surfaces for single and dual screen form factors. To build software in context with human factors and the physical world is a one-of-a-kind opportunity. ### Senior Designer, Surface Hub 2 UX @ Microsoft Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 The largest screen I've had the honor to design and build for, the Surface Hub 2 ranged from 55" to 86" and came with touch and pen first interactions. From concept to execution, I explored and refined new UX paradigms; framed new opportunities through storyboards, prototypes, and scenario-driven processes. Partnered with a team of hardware designers to consider ergonomics, human factors, sensor integration, and the surrounding device ecosystem. ### Designer II, Microsoft Photos and Video editor apps @ Microsoft Jan 2015 – Jan 2017 | Redmond, WA Shipped new Photos and Video Editor apps for the Windows 10 Creator's Update. While exploring the realm of mixed reality for students and families, I championed the challenges of designing for dynamic window sizes and resolutions across all Windows devices. I led a scenario-driven and data-informed process when working on new feature development and improvements. ### Designer, Microsoft Windows OS & Apps @ Microsoft Jan 2012 – Jan 2015 | Redmond, WA Released the first incarnation of the Phone Companion app, now Your Phone app, on Windows OS. I partnered with teams across Windows and Office organizations, to deliver on strategic efforts to empower your phone and Windows PC to work together seamlessly. I led design efforts with a customer-driven approach that was carefully balanced with the strategic goals for the Windows business. Pioneered best UX practices for designing UI on device – I prioritized physical ergonomics and touch-first interactions for the Windows 8.1 Camera app that first launched on Microsoft Surface hardware. I explored new ways of taking photos with embedded sensors on a tablet device, by partnering with a fun and adventurous group of program managers and engineers within Microsoft Research. ### Design Researcher & Interaction Designer @ Carnegie Mellon, Dept of Human Computer Interaction Jan 2012 – Jan 2012 | Pittsburgh, PA Conceptualized a web app for a Pittsburgh public school bus system using real-time location tracking to connect school administrators, bus drivers, parents, and students. I explored and identified varying needs of different users in a shared ecosystem. ### User Experience Designer @ LG Electronics Jan 2011 – Jan 2011 | Pittsburgh, PA By leveraging various UX research methods and tools, my team embodied an end-to-end design process to develop and test concepts of a simplified mobile OS for low-tech users. The final concept was pitched and presented to a UX team at LG, S.
