# Renu Vora > Senior Product Designer | Complex Systems & Decision-Support UX | AI-Assisted Systems | Healthcare & Workflow Platforms Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/renuvora I am a product designer focused on designing complex systems where clarity, usability, and real-world decisions matter. At PayPal and across work in healthcare, SaaS, education, and technology, I have designed products and platforms that support complex workflows and multi-user coordination — from onboarding and checkout flows to systems that manage care, compliance, and structured data and dashboards. Much of this work has involved simplifying fragmented processes, clarifying responsibilities, and helping users make decisions with confidence in high-stakes environments. I work end-to-end across user flows, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI — translating complex requirements into clear, implementation-ready product experiences. One example of this was leading an internal initiative at PayPal, where I helped redesign a complex 13-step workflow into a significantly simpler interaction model — reducing friction while maintaining alignment with business and technical constraints, and earning internal recognition. Across projects, I’ve found that many challenges are not just about usability, but about how people interpret information, navigate trade-offs, and coordinate with others. Designing for clarity in these systems directly impacts how effectively people can act and make decisions. More recently, I’ve been extending this thinking into AI-enabled products — designing AI-assisted features that support decision-making in complex environments. This includes exploring how structured interaction patterns help users compare alternatives, surface assumptions, and understand trade-offs without removing their control. Recently completed Stanford Online’s UI/UX Design for AI Products program, deepening my work in AI-assisted systems and decision-support design. I also use AI-assisted workflows for research, ideation, and exploring information structure and interaction patterns in early-stage design. I have also worked on rule-based systems where validation, requirements, and progress tracking shape how users navigate complex processes. I am particularly interested in designing systems that support better decision-making — through clearer workflows, better information design, and thoughtful integration of AI. Currently open to product design roles (full-time or contract), including AI-enabled products. ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer @ Zpixels Inc Jan 2014 – Present Focused on designing complex systems, multi-user workflows, and decision-support experiences across healthcare and data-driven platforms. Exploring AI-assisted interaction patterns for decision-support systems and structured reasoning workflows. Designed end-to-end product experiences across healthcare, education, and technology, focusing on systems where accuracy, usability, and clear information impact outcomes. Worked across user flows, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI to translate complex requirements into structured, implementation-ready experiences. Healthcare System Led design of a multi-user healthcare platform supporting patients, caregivers, and doctors, improving coordination across distributed users. Introduced a role-based dashboard, making status, tasks, and priorities visible — improving coordination and response reliability. Designed workflows for care coordination, scheduling, and communication, reducing missed or duplicated tasks. Licensure System Designed a rule-based system translating regulatory requirements into structured workflows, validation logic, and progress tracking. Simplified manual tracking into clear inputs and feedback — reducing errors and improving visibility into compliance status. Designed dashboards and data visualizations to surface progress, gaps, and next steps. AI Work Designed AI-assisted interaction patterns for decision-support systems to help users compare alternatives, understand trade-offs, and make informed decisions. Applied these patterns to support exploration of complex decisions while preserving user control. Insight Strong information structure and interaction design reduce ambiguity, improve coordination, and enable better decision-making. ### Producer & Editor @ The Wisdom Tree Film Jan 2009 – Jan 2014 Film Producer & Editor (Independent Feature Film) ### Senior Product Designer @ PayPal, an ebay company Jan 2006 – Jan 2009 Designed user experiences for high-stakes financial workflows (checkout and account creation), where clarity and trust directly influenced user behavior and completion. Simplified multi-step journeys by rethinking interaction models, reducing friction across critical flows. Led redesign of a complex 13-step workflow into a streamlined experience, improving usability and earning internal recognition. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to align user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. ### Lead Web Designer @ Delivery Agent Jan 2005 – Jan 2006 ### Lead Web Designer @ iPolicy Networks Jan 2002 – Jan 2003 ### Web Designer @ SeeItFirst Jan 2001 – Jan 2001 ## Education ### Multimedia Design New York University ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/renuvora --- Source: https://flows.cv/renuvora JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/renuvora/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-05
