I often find myself being the analytical solution provider. I strive to keep things simple, uncomplicated and straight to the point while ensuring crucial business rules and processes are not ignored. I have a knack for picking up potential usability issues and ensuring that all user angles have been well thought through. I have great attention to detail for consistency, design/coding principals and an error free front-end. I deliver quality work in a quick and organised manner. Having worked as a designer and developer at agencies and in corporate environments; I have gained a wealth of experience in front-end and back-end development working with in-house and third party systems providing eCommerce, booking engine, CMS, DAM and intranets solutions covering industries such as travel, airline, vehicle sales & tracking, finance, recruitment, corporate, teaching, fitness, health and beauty. I enjoy dealing directly with stakeholders and business owners/units in gaining their trust to deliver exactly what was requested and managing expectations. Also being the liaison for the development team in translating the business requirements and assisting the relevant parties in envisaging the bigger picture. Ensuring the delivery of the above mentioned items. ### Digital Experience Manager @ Comair Limited Jan 2017 – Jan 2021 | Johannesburg Area, South Africa Leading and managing a team of UX/UI and digital content designers that focus on product/system implementations and releases. Managing E-commerce resource availability and servicing business needs from a UX/UI and digital content design perspective. I ensure the delivery of various digital platforms and digital acquisition strategies. Recently completed the delivery of the kulula.com Travel app in January 2019. ### Senior Web Designer @ Comair Limited Jan 2013 – Jan 2017 | South Africa I formed part of a dynamic E-commerce UX and Web design team that implement, roll out and maintain in-house and third party solutions for online brands such as the airline & travel kulula.com, kulula.mobi, creditcard.kulula.com, comair.co.za, Accomodation & Holidays - mtbeds.co.za. Using technologies such as Orchard CMS (ASP.NET MVC framework) and Sabre Airline Solutions. I worked on big business projects to smaller marketing campaigns. Business projects that included analysis, wireframes, prototyping, storyboards and user interface designs when activating new websites, products & services. This included liaising with business owners and stakeholders as well as developers. The smaller marketing campaigns involved landing pages, banners and email designs. Over and above the before mentioned responsibilities, my role includes the testing thereof. 2016: Recently lead the design team and implemented the design layer for the release of the new Sabre DX solution and converting the existing in-house system to the bootstrap responsive framework. Also assisted and guided fellow designer in the re-design of the new mtbeds.co.za website in phase 2, while improving admin portal for business owner. Just to name a few. Gained knowledge of technologies such as Orchard CMS & MS Sharepoint, Sabre Airline Solutions.
