From typing up short stories in middle school to helping organize author events in college, I believed in--and was convinced by--the power of the written word to inspire empathy across real and imaginary borders. Today, I'm studying User Experience Design for Social Responsibility (through CUNY Baccalaureate for Individualized Study) as a Macaulay Honors scholar at Hunter College. Despite this myriad of labels, my heart's passion still remains the same: to create better bridges between human beings.
