Open Water is a startup accelerator that provides selected startups with cloud credits and a dedicated team of engineers, designers, and growth hackers. 

The startup I took part in is called Offchance (https://www.offchance.com/aboutus). Offchance is a platform hosting raffles of popular streetwear. I worked in a team as a software engineer intern and developed a mobile app MVP for Offchance by implementing both backend and frontend.

My contribution includes:
★ Backend                                                                                                                                                               
    • Built database and our own RESTful API with IBM Cloud and MongoDB.
    • Handled API request and response with Node.
    • Implemented complete User objects and different types of user flows, such as admin, business, and individual.

★ Frontend
    • Built frontend with React Native and Expo.
    • Implemented features including searching, navigation, sliding, functionalities of following and like, and notification pushing.
    • Construct live chat rooms for every ongoing raffle where users can chat and watch revealing of raffle winners in real-time.
    • Integrated Stripe payment that supports credit card, PayPal, and can store payment information for future use.
