With a comical take, I hope to have difficult conversations with the required light-heartedness. ### Product Designer @ Kohl's Jan 2017 – Jan 2020 | Milpitas, California - Building and evangelising a design system with a visual designer and content strategist to make store apps accessible for associates working in 1100 Kohl’s stores across USA. - Led design for Kohl’s Wallet and Charge Card on-boarding experience on the mobile app with the goals of increasing sign ups and number of payments made against the charge card. - Working on optimising our team’s design workflow and handoffs by integrating Abstract for version control and maintaining our pattern libraries. - Led the redesign of all associate apps by collaborating with a researcher, copywriter, visual designer, product managers, and store teams over a period of a year to cut down operations cost and raise the SUS score for associate experience. - Mentored two junior designers during their internships with Kohl's in the last 2 years ### Product Design Intern @ Kohl's Department Stores Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Milpitas, California I worked with the Customer Experience Design team for 10 weeks. I learned about how Kohl's makes an impact through design. While working on an ongoing project, I was exposed to different parts of a customer's journey. Initially I was overwhelmed. I could not decide where to start. As weeks went by I met different team members and got a better idea of what is important to Kohl's and their customers. I designed wireframes for Kohl's app and website. I improved on my presentation skills. I figured that tenets of service design play a crucial part in Kohl's customer experience. Eventually, I worked on a project with an intern team remotely, which was fun! I want to thank the people I worked with during my internship with Kohl's. They were fun, inspiring and creative! ### User Experience Designer - Intern @ Musejam Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 ### Software Engineer @ Nucleus Software Exports Limited Jan 2012 – Jan 2014 ### Software Engineer Trainee @ Nucleus Software Exports Limited Jan 2011 – Jan 2012 ## Education ### Master’s Degree in Human Computer Interaction Indiana University Bloomington Jan 2015 – Jan 2017 ### B.Tech in Computer Science Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute Of Technology Jan 2007 – Jan 2011 ### High School in Mathematics and Computer Science Adarsh Public School ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/rishabhardwaj - Portfolio: http://rishportfolio.com --- Source: https://flows.cv/rishabhbhardwaj JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/rishabhbhardwaj/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-30
