# Rishabh Dhotrekar > AI Product Manager | LLM Workflows · NLP · Multimodal AI | Columbia MS | Building at Chartbeat | Open to PM roles Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/rishabhdhotrekar www.hirerishabh.com Most of the good things in my career started with a slightly unreasonable question: "What if I just try building this and see who it actually helps?" I trained as an engineer but kept drifting toward the parts of the work that weren't in the syllabus, figuring out what to build, for whom, and how to know if it was working. That pulled me from design into product. I care less about the artifact and more about the system around it: who uses it, what decisions it changes, and how the feedback loops behave over time. That lens has shaped most of what I've done since. At Chartbeat, I've spent four terms building AI-enabled products and internal platforms for a B2B analytics tool used by newsrooms. The interesting problems weren't just "add AI": they were defining intent pipelines, building an Early Access Hub so launches stopped being one-off favors, and wiring telemetry and qualitative feedback into something product teams could actually act on. The value was in making it safer and faster to ship, not in the buzzword. In parallel, I build products when a problem feels too persistent to ignore. BSide Bot started because field technicians were wasting hours on documentation every shift. I built a voice-only MVP, learned quickly why it broke in noisy environments, then rebuilt it as a multimodal, zero-UI pipeline: chaining Whisper, GPT, and OCR: that plugs directly into existing CMMS and ERP systems via REST APIs. I designed the prompt schemas, evaluation datasets, and quality thresholds from scratch. I'm most interested in roles where product, data, and AI intersect with real workflows; B2B SaaS, infrastructure-adjacent tools, or anything that quietly changes how teams operate. I like small teams, clear ownership, and environments where "Why this?" and "How will we know?" are asked often. Currently at Chartbeat in San Francisco. Columbia MS (Mechanical Engineering, focused on Product Management, Data Science, and ML). Open to AI PM, Applied AI PM, and technical PM roles at Seed–Series B companies. ## Work Experience ### Product Manager @ Chartbeat Jan 2026 – Present | New York, United States • Leading product discovery for AI assistant expansion, synthesizing usage data, competitive signals, and stakeholder research to define the highest-impact feature opportunities and build business cases for roadmap decisions. • Authoring PRDs connecting business requirements to functional specifications for AI-powered features, partnering with Engineering and PMM to drive alignment from discovery through delivery. • Driving Pendo Sigma implementation to instrument full platform usage, establishing adoption and health metrics that connect feature performance to investment decisions. • Owning launch readiness and cross-functional coordination across 5 concurrent early access programs, maintaining documentation clarity and stakeholder alignment through Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success. ### Co-Founder @ BSide Bot Jan 2025 – Jan 2026 | San Francisco, California, United States • Built a multimodal AI documentation tool converting technician audio, images, and handwritten notes into structured work orders — chaining Whisper, GPT, and OCR into a zero-UI pipeline with direct CMMS and ERP integration via REST APIs. • Designed prompt schemas, evaluation datasets, and quality acceptance thresholds from scratch, using structured failure analysis to drive measurable accuracy improvements across edge case distributions. • Conducted direct user research with field technicians to translate operational pain into implementation-ready product requirements, owning strategy, roadmap, and delivery end-to-end. ### Product Manager @ Chartbeat Jan 2025 – Jan 2025 | New York, United States • Built and launched an Early Access Hub, a 10-step structured launch playbook with templates and operating procedures, compounding GTM execution quality across 5 concurrent beta programs without adding headcount. • Led discovery for Chartbeat's AI assistant initiative, synthesizing user research, behavioral data, and competitive signals into a prioritized roadmap with clear success metrics delivered to engineering. • Designed a scalable feedback system by normalizing signals from Productboard and Zendesk into a severity-ranked taxonomy, routing insights to Product and Engineering owners, and migrating into Pendo Listen for ongoing operation. • Built the Chartbeat Dashboard Anonymizer Chrome extension, a scripted DOM automation tool using MutationObserver, replacing a manual demo preparation workflow entirely. ### Product and Design Lead @ ICPC -
