Building the User Research vertical & preparing to scale. - I head research, sensemaking and signal amplifier for all user research at Atlan. - I drive strategic projects for all future-facing exploratory work and drive adoption for all the work that is shipped through insights. - Built internal PMF of Research <> Product, Research <> CS, Research <> GTM - Built a central repo for all research interviews and findings - Built a culture of making research signals a part of everyday life at Atlan - from weekly assets created to communicate user feelings, to creating a wall of love, to owning user love asset for quarterly townhall and board meetings. My goal here is to build org-wide empathy towards humans of data - Running multiple programs to capture signals from the users across various mediums - Created new programs to run strategic discovery of signals from our end users - All the signals attributed to making product decisions and created new narratives that help us understand data teams - I created and owned several internal projects to go back and communicate what happens with user signals back to the users. Building the technology that powers the farms of the future for other projects at the Food Future Colab. ### Associate Engineer , Stategy and Innovation @ Target Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 ### Trainee Developer BI @ Target Jan 2014 – Jan 2015 At Target, my responsibility is to built technologies for tomorrow. I built technologies in IOT domain, where I am responsible for end to end development of the project. From designing the application on the hardware , to writing web/mobile applications, to writing APIs, to writing servers that could handle data, to creating the databases that would store the information, I develop projects that could change the way our brick and mortar stores operate, the apps that could enhance guest experience and supply change management, and tools that could help in various opportunity areas of the company. I tinker a lot with the various IOT development boards ranging from Raspberry Pi's, to Intel Edison, to Beagle Bone Black to ATMEL boards. I also work with the Target Accelerator Program where I am responsible for evaluation of IOT startups for the same. I have been lucky enough to be a part of an amazing team in my time at Target who respect disruptive ideas and challenge the limitations of imagination everyday. ### Research Intern @ li2-innovations Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 My responsibilities included research , designing a solution around a problem statement and then prototyping it. The design included both hardware and software design. Prototyping was done on various platforms which included Arduino , TI-MSP430 and ARM processors . I have contributed to various projects , some of which have also been commercialized. Some of the few projects that I have completed are : 1. Automated Image Capturing System 2.
