My journey began with a Google-certified UX Bootcamp, where I designed my first beta app, Bakestock. This project solidified my passion for UX design and led me to pursue an MS in User Experience at Arizona State University, where I’ve deepened my skills in design, research, and user-centered problem-solving.

Last summer, I interned at Avoma, Inc., an AI-powered SaaS startup, where I had the opportunity to design and prototype a new feature for their platform. Working at the intersection of AI and UX, I gained valuable insights into designing innovative, user-centric products that blend cutting-edge technology with intuitive design.

I continue to push my design boundaries through projects such as Mayo Clinic’s AI-powered interface for healthcare physicians and Arizona Water's chatbot redesign, always striving to create accessible, efficient, and engaging experiences for users.

I created and put in place a full design system, which included our branding, all the user interface parts, and a new logo that the team chose to use. Using this system, I designed and made interactive versions of the main user flows for important product features like onboarding and how users communicate.

My contributions to Avoma's user interface included the redesigned Profile page and designing of the Snippets webpage, which enhanced the overall user experience. I gained a comprehensive understanding of information architecture, enabling me to structure content effectively for optimal user experience. Additionally, I acquired expertise in designing icons within a pre-existing design system, a critical component of maintaining visual consistency. Furthermore, I encountered and learned to apply new UX terminology such as "tooltip" and "skeletal wireframe," enriching my design vocabulary and expanding my knowledge of industry standards.
