As the Head of Design at TripLog, I lead the UX/UI design efforts for our app on iOS, Android, and the Web, ensuring a user-friendly and engaging experience. My role also encompasses the design, development, and maintenance of our marketing website, ensuring it resonates with our brand identity and meets our audience’s needs. While I actively contribute to brainstorming sessions for new features and product improvements, my primary responsibility lies in translating these ideas into reality through creative and intuitive design solutions.

Overseeing the design and process of the TripLog Mileage app on IOS, Android, & the Web, including the design and process of TripLogs administrative web dashboard. Focusing on the product's UI/UX across these platforms to expand and improve its capabilities and increase usability.

Providing solutions to creative problems for client projects in UX/ UI, Web Design, Visual Design, Production Design, and Motion Graphics.

Helped the team to use internal designs of a new site to build a custom e-commerce site that would be converted into a Shopify theme.

• Re-aligned conflicting design goals, working with the business owner and their team to identify solutions that wouldn't add costs.

• Iterated 18 rounds of designs, developing custom UI & interaction elements across 16 responsive webpages in 4 breakpoints.

• Explored 2 services & custom code for integrating a product-message while working within the platform's constraints.

• Tagged & converted the site into a Shopify theme, and established their e-commerce storefront.

Worked to bring the studio's web presence up to modern standards. Refocusing the business to refocus their online efforts and consolidate their web presence to save money.

• Worked with the owner to identify content from the business's 2 existing websites to maintain relevant features.

• Produced low-fidelity mockups and wireframes over 3 rounds of iteration to produce a style & UI approach that reflected their goals

• Consolidated the brand into a single website, leading to a 77.5% reduction of overhead costs while improving the client-side experience.

• Added security with a new hosting platform, improving analytics accuracy and securing incoming & outgoing data.

• Provided CMS driven content management, with added e-commerce solutions to address existing products on other platforms.

Lead the design and implementation of a basic custom e-commerce website for the business using Adboe XD, Figma, and Webflow.

• Investigated 4 design styles, iterated over 48 wireframes, and further refined them into 25 mockups selected from the top 3 designs.

• Designed & built 2 prototypes on Adobe XD, then Figma, changing to work live with their team to make UI/ UX decisions before development.

• Created a custom responsive website while integrating swiper.js, a JS library of carousel sliders that are more flexible on mobile.

Designed layouts & graphics to replace the companies bootstrap site by creating a landing page featuring Lottie animated graphics and a parallax interaction.

• Illustrated & animated a vector-based triggerable web component made it After Effects and implemented it with the Lottie framework.

• Crafted a parallax interaction as part of their landing page's hero banner and developed a single landing page

• Designed, wireframed, prototyped, redlined, and built a landing page that included a parallax interaction for the page's hero banner.

Provided a range of design support to the startup Presshound in their efforts to promote and develop their web app.

• Worked with the development team, incorporating feedback to craft UI patterns & redlines for the startup's web-app.

• Produced 6 graphics, 2 illustrations, a range of icons, 1 logo, and other promotional visual design work for web & print.

• Assembled a website using a bootstrap template of pre-built sections of HTML, CSS, and JS.

Provided quality assurance to ArenaNet’s Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns expansion. Working as part of a team to tackle chunks of content to provide feedback, bug reports, and testing.

Designed a broad range of test cases to ensure system health and stability of builds for Bungie’s Console Closers team in support of Destiny 1’s impending release. Providing cross-platform testing, bug reporting, and self-driven ad-hoc testing through creative problem solving to help successfully launch Bungie's best-selling new franchise.

• Managed daily test cases while seeking high-priority bugs to assure the usability of builds before being distributed to the studio at large.

• Worked with my team to rapidly address single-player, co-op, and story progression on PS3 & PS4 to certify build stability.

Created a range of 3D motion maps to produce animated data points for Microsoft’s Kinect team to advance the Kinect’s user-tracking. Working to rapidly arrange & animate data points to address the need to improve usability for their consumers.

• Created a multitude of animated motion maps using Kinect telemetry, ranging from small and simple to large and complex to aid in the creation of a more robust algorithm for the device.

Performed GIS based mapping on proprietary-business development tools in support of Google’s Global & Special Projects Teams. Visually designing and iterating improvements to existing Google Map’s data-sets throughout Europe and the Pacific. Gathered data points and followed design parameters to adhere to local traffic laws, regulations and conventions.

• Meticulously examined ticketed regions of satellite imagery for roadways, paths and intersections to accurately map and enhance usable paths with their regional legal user interactions.

• Researched & mapped universities and zoo’s through Spain for the Special Projects team. Providing accurate and detailed maps for navigation used by thousands of daily users.

• Strived to maintain a high quality of work while meeting team-driven quotas to help provide and ensure a great user experience for one of Googles most popular services
