Graduate of Northeastern University with a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science. Outside of engineering, I’m passionate about Ultimate Frisbee and discovering new music. I also enjoy snowboarding, rock climbing, following the NBA, and staying current with emerging technologies.
At ID.me, I led key initiatives across backend infrastructure and frontend experiences. I built an internal health check library with out-of-the-box support for Redis, Postgres, and ElasticSearch, along with a flexible system for app-specific diagnostics. I refactored the Browser Extension API to improve offer matching logic and enhance the customer experience.
On the identity side, I developed a modular Address Review interface used by dozens of partners, handling complex state and API interactions with functional React components. I also reworked our Affiliate Ingest pipeline to improve reliability and maintainability, reducing failures and streamlining data flow across the system.
At SilverBills, I focused on performance, security, and internal tooling. I played a key role in securing SOC 2 compliance by implementing CSRF protection, automating test suites, and upgrading the app to Rails 7. I improved overall system speed by optimizing SQL queries and refining join logic, leading to significantly faster page loads.
I also built features that made life easier for admins—richer dashboards, document previews, and streamlined notifications. On the SEO front, I added canonical links, breadcrumbs, and dynamic meta updates to boost discoverability and improve organic traffic.
At PatientsLikeMe, I worked across microservices and UI to deepen user engagement. I enhanced the GraphQL-powered newsfeed with keyword search, smart friend suggestions, and scoring logic. I created an onboarding “Quickstart” flow to help new users connect faster and designed a genome data interface with real-time visuals and Wikipedia integration. I also mentored interns and collaborated across teams on projects involving Rails, React, ElasticSearch, and Salesforce.
