● Part of an Agile team responsible for a number of microservices and core aspects of a larger ASP.NET MVC monolith  as part of a large, data-heavy web application. Used AWS, C#/.NET, AngularJS, and DynamoDb to maintain and develop everything from fully featured front-end components, automated reporting logic, AWS serverless step function logic, and third-party caching solutions (Rockset).
● Led a refactoring initiative leveraging .NET 8 to continue dismantling a monolithic architecture into microservices, resulting in significant enhancements across testing coverage, code maintainability, data management, and deployment robustness.
● Conceptualized, designed, and implemented a robust automated reporting system leveraging C#/.NET and AWS SQS technologies to streamline the generation and distribution of comprehensive reports resulting in an increase in ARR across multiple client companies.

● Part of the Agile team responsible for the core business logic of VL’s SaaS product. Within our domain, developed the full stack including SQL Server, AWS, C#/.NET,  and JavaScript (Angular/Knockout). Developed features implementing complicated financial domain logic working closely with Product and Subject Matter Experts which added millions of ARR for the company due to new business--in the first 3 quarters of 2021 the business grew 20%.
● Key part of the ongoing effort to transition core C#/.NET business logic from a monolithic code base into a series of microservices deployed on AWS and interfacing with the larger application through an API, thus gaining a codebase that is more modern, extensible, and testable while continuing to leverage existing working code.
● Refactored areas of code where single file LoC had gotten into the thousands and when continuing development had become cumbersome leading to maintainable code that can be extended and tested with significantly dev and QA time.
● Lead engineer on an Agile team focused on a company-wide effort to resolve all internal and external bugs in the main VL product and establish a regular cadence of no more than 30 bugs at any time within engineering and no bug existing for longer than 30 days. As part of this effort added many Unit Tests (Jasmine/XUnit) to legacy and new code and increased engineering documentation significantly (Confluence).
