• Created and pre-processed a data set comprised of 40,000 entries from 47 different weather stations in the state of Florida

• Collaborated with Doctor Indranil SenGupta to build a deep learning model utilizing both a feed-forward and convolutional neural network that correctly classified rainfall levels with an 81% accuracy in one of three zones: no rainfall, light, or moderate

• Implemented a proportional integral derivative based temperature control algorithm in C resulting in a 7.0% increase in system efficiency

• Successfully cross-compiled device drivers from a Linux host operating system to an ARM Cortex-A8 based processor through a tool-chain, make utilities, and bootloading

• Participated in weekly code reviews and wrote documentation surrounding the process of cross compiling for future projects in an embedded Linux environment
