Kernel team summer co-op

* Implemented a Kdump-based crash dumping facility in Arista EOS to help debug kernel panics

* Built infrastructure for system crash reporting and analyzing, and deployed it on all internal servers

* Proposed a new building mechanism for cross-compiled packages based on Fedora mock

* Also worked extensively with the internal tool team on improvements and bug fixes

PHP development:

• Box, a short-term file sharing system (hash-based object storage; also built the frontend)

• Notice, a student activity hub (RESTful APIs powering a Single-Page App)

• Several small CMS and voting systems

System administration:

• Unified scattered servers into an identical virtualized infrastructure and implemented various automation systems

• Mitigated several network attacks along with university IT and enforced better security practice

Leadership:

• Led a development team of more than a dozen students, carried out training, and coordinated multiple web/mobile projects
