As an engineer at Patina, my responsibilities included:

Started as Software Engineer and promoted to Team Lead. At Quartet, we develop a number of React apps targeted to Healthcare Providers and patients. I work on architecture and development for new product features, manage a backlog and assign work based on my team members’ strengths and areas for improvement. I collaborate closely with product and design leads to surface the needs of Engineering. Above all else, I strive to make sure we deliver our features on time with code that we’re proud of.

Full-stack Javascript development position, building and maintaining React, Node, AngularJS apps.

Directly responsible for building and maintaining the front-end of Clinical Key, an AngularJS web application with tens of thousands of unique users per month. Clinical Key is a platform that facilitates searching and browsing a database of medical journal articles, books, and other content.

Led an initiative to improve the code quality of Clinical Key. Introduced new testing frameworks, unit testing practices, refactored unwieldy modules, and championed a process to reduce the amount of untested code in the code base. Regularly ran testing workshops to share knowledge among team members.
