As a Co-founder, and the Lead ID for Prynt, I’ve significantly strengthened my ability in Industrial
Design, Project Management, and Team Leadership. I spearheaded the full design and production of all
of our products, packaging, accessories, and displays. This included generating 2d drawings, assembly
files, and executing files for tooling. I’ve created numerous rounds of sketch boards and prototypes
with SLA, Clay, and 3D printing. I also held accountability over a cross-functional team of junior and
senior mechanical engineers located in France, and San Francisco. I provided factory teams
with in-depth training in the assembly of all products, and conducted quality control on CMF, including all materials and packaging. Additionally, I collaborated with our internal Graphic Design team to design
product packaging and Point of Purchase displays.
Some of my most significant achievements in this role included :
•
Developing creative engineering solutions to effect significant product price reductions while
maintaining the original feel and functionality of end product.
•
Leading in the design of an exclusive product for Sanrio, Japan.
•
Designing highly-effective and expansive factory assembly lines in China and Korea.
•
Our product ranked as the most successful French Kickstarter campaign with $1.5M+ in funding with designs gaining entry into HAX, the world’s foremost hardware startup accelerator.
•
The Prynt products have been showcased in several museums including the Tate Museum London and Georges Pompidou in Paris and in several prominent publications including DesignBoom, Wired, Digital Trends, Forbes, and others.
