I am studying engineering with a concentration in robotics in an effort to become competent in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.  I am currently most confident in my skills as a mechanical engineer, but I am quickly becoming more confident with programming.  I enjoy projects in which I can draw on many different experiences to find an elegant solution to a problem.  For example, when building a robot with tall, difficult to support posts, I was excited to draw on my experience from sailing to add string "stays" to support the posts while adding very little weight.

### Staff Robotics Software Engineer @ Relativity Space
Jan 2018 – Present | Los Angeles County, California, United States
Member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for portions of the software, hardware, and sensor development, with a primary focus on integration, to enable industrial robots to 3D print large aluminum structures for rockets. The team has grown from 2 to 8 since I started, and has also taken on responsibilities in supporting production prints.

Built and did some design work for tethered drones and worked on a couple of internal R&D projects doing design work and flight testing/debugging.
