Technological Contributions
● Designed and implemented key backend services and components for the iPaaS integrator.io (including: File and Database Connectors, core platform enhancements, Webhook listeners, etc) using Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS services like EC2 and S3; supporting over 300 million records per day at peak and rising.
● Designed and implemented internal APIs built over microservices using multiple tech stacks in both Node.js and Java on multiple cloud providers to supplement the core functionality of integrator.io that were scalable and fault-tolerant
● Worked with the DevOps team to design and develop a set of server configuration scripts using Chef 12 and Ruby modules to enable rapid server deployment and scaling across all of our microservices automatically.
● Designed and implemented an enhancement for processing files in batches using Java’s Concurrent Package and Streams API that decreased total runtime by over 90%.
● Was a lead engineer on the initiative to upgrade our current tech stacks from monolith servers to Docker containers running on Kubernetes to improve platform stability, lower costs, and improve throughput
● Interfaced with teams around the world across multiple disciplines, including Product Management, UI/UX, and Customer Support to achieve product development milestones and solve customer issues
● Reviewed system security and made necessary upgrades to meet industry and legal standards for accessing sensitive data, such as financial transactions and health records.
