Part of the 4-person Anti-Money Laundering, Risk and Compliance (ARC) Engineering pod, responsible for a tier-1 real-time compliance, fraud and risk classification service, critical to user onboarding and transaction execution. Primary responsibilities encompass backend feature development and production support.
・Developed the framework for Identity Risk Scoring, in order to set up appropriate restrictions based on the user’s risk profile (eg. require 3DS for card transactions of high risk actors).
・Developed functionality to automatically suspend users upon suspected fraud. Successful deployment resulted in blocking a real fraudster from transacting further during a fraud incident.
・Designed the architecture for a Universal Identity to link potentially fraudulent actors across all tenants.
・Led efforts to automate system-level testing of the onboarding flow and high risk transaction scenarios.
・Built various Admin UI tools for ARC officers to effectively investigate incidents without engineering support.
・Expanded scope of existing DevTools and infrastructure to boost developer productivity and system reliability.

Part of the 3-member Advanced Development Group, primarily responsible for architecting and developing MVPs to facilitate Intertrust product innovation.
・Developed smart contracts and backend infrastructure for the Token Rights Management (TRM) system that tokenizes and secures digital content using blockchain and Digital Rights Management technology. Academy Award winning Japanese media producer Nekojarashi leveraged TRM to launch Roadstead, an NFT Marketplace, enabling them to securely monetize their digital assets on the Flow Blockchain.
・Developed a FIDO2 Passwordless Authentication System, officially certified by the FIDO Alliance.
・Worked cross functionally with the Platform team to ensure that prospective clients’ use cases could be satisfied, driving sales conversion. This was augmented by developing apps, such as a DataMart to monetize datasets and an AppStore to Dockerize and share custom programs, which were leveraged as marketing tools by Sales.
・Designed a patented hybrid encryption SDK for a mapping software product that combined operating system security with whitebox cryptography.
