I firmly believe that staying curious and embracing new technologies not only keeps me at the forefront of the industry but also broadens the horizons of my thinking. ## Work Experience ### Software Development Engineer II @ Amazon Jan 2021 – Present • Member of Alexa Shopping List (ASL) team that launched V1 experience of deals on ASL which is currently generating 50K MAU. • Led the design and development effort to provide customers the ability to clip deals at any store which is one of our key KPI’s today with our system currently handling ~15K clippings per week. • Collaborated with multiple internal teams including engineering, UX, product, BI and brought consensus on highly debated topics. • Spearhead the effort to make our services secure, operationally ready for deals V1 launch leading to zero security issues and an above 98 operational efficiency score. • Mentored four engineers to guide them in making decisions, help them in understanding internal systems and finish their tasks efficiently. • Worked with tools and technologies like Java, Guice, Junit, Spring, Jersey, Typescript, React Native etc. ### Software Development Engineer @ Amazon Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | Santa Clara County, California, United States • Member of Amazon Business team with a tenet to develop innovative and efficient software so as to make the Amazon Business platform a shopping destination of choice for institutional business customers of all sizes and industries. • Part of the team that launched Easyship MSO project which enhanced the seller experience by allowing sellers to ship customer orders into multiple packages improving B2B Easyship OPS by ~10%. • Owned backend services responsible for scheduling packages on behalf of seller as part of MSO. Designed, developed and unit tested service APIs using Java, Spring, EasyMock and JUnit. • Developed a new feature which can autofill tax registration information for customers by integrating with government of India APIs.
