Started as a Senior PM on Game Streaming & Future Technologies and later took the role of product lead for Player Discovery, UGC, and Player Communications.
In my first role, I launched game streaming for PS5 games, with an expanded feature set and technical capabilities to over 32M PS Plus subscribers.
I also, reduced development and testing related costs by experimenting with new ways to leverage game streaming technology in the game development workflow.
As I took on the lead role for Player Discovery, UGC, and Communications, I spearheaded various initiatives that significantly impacted user engagement and operational efficiency.
I developed features for user-generated content and cloud integration that increased player uptake for media viewing, consumption, and sharing over a six-month period.
Additionally, I introduced process and user experience (UX) improvements that led to a substantial reduction in operational expenses for media services.
Furthermore, through iterative improvements and strategic roadmap planning, I drove performance optimizations for PS messages on mobile devices, resulting in increase in efficiency and a rise in user satisfaction scores.
Lastly, I advanced organizational initiatives for cross-platform gaming by developing new products and roadmaps, facilitating the seamless sharing of PlayStation experiences with other platforms.
As a Senior Designer I narrowed my focus to monetization and retail features on the PlayStation Network with a focus on store and subscription services.
I designed the retail experiences for the PS5 launch through several months of various fidelities of prototyping, user testing, and design iterations.
Established UX frameworks, interaction models, design systems, design specifications, and information architecture for all retail experiences on PS5.
Owned the delivery and transition of the 2 Playstation subscription services (PS Plus and PS Now) from PS4 to PS5 across multiple platforms (mobile, web, and console).
Post PS5 launch, led the organization-wide merger of PS Plus and PS Now, from two single tier services to a single multi-tier service, for 35M subscribers.
As an associate product designer I got to define the PS5 Platform UI in its early stages.
Developed and delivered early UI and UX frameworks for PS5. Prototyped and user tested multiple directions, and refined based on user feedback. Created system wide frameworks for other teams to use as a guide in developing new experiences for PS5
Joined PlayStation as a junior designer specializing in Music and Video experiences on PS4. Launched integration features with platform partners such as Spotify, Youtube, and other TV & Media Apps.
Redesigned v3 of the Automatic mobile app personal mobility tracking. Prototyped new features such as mileage tracking, battery health, IoT integrations, etc.
Collaborated with engineers to provide design specs for both iOS and Android versions of the app, and implement the designs to pixel perfection.
Established a UX research practice and conducted weekly user tests to iterate on the UX and refine the information architecture.
Advanced efforts to move from product to platform approach by designing B2B and SaaS solutions for enterprise fleet tracking and insurance.
