I am currently a software engineer at Box, working on the Core Data team. Specifically, I work on Box's internal caching solutions, both managing Memcached and Redis deployments in the cloud and building micro-services using gRPC to provide unified access to the caching layer.

I was previously a software engineer on the Azure Networking team at Microsoft, building services in CDN, site-acceleration, mobile edge computing, and 5G areas. Those services allow Azure customers to provide low-latency experiences to their end users and protect their services from malicious users. I utilized the latest technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, and wrote code in a variety of languages including C# and Node.js.

Before that, I interned at eBay on the User Platform & Tracking team. During my internship I was responsible for building a full-stack application that allowed internal teams to perform quick search of millions of real-time tracking events occurring on the eBay platform. I used Java and Cassandra on the backend, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript on the frontend.

In 2015 I interned at Main Street Hub where I designed and built a REST service in Java that interfaced with the Twitter API to provide tweets based on keyword and user location. I deployed this code to production in an AWS environment and helped migrate existing applications to use the new service.

I graduated from The University of Texas with High Honors, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Software Engineering.
