• Designed scalable architecture on the cloud for DeNovo SaaS platform, a product used by Financial Services Clients for monitoring disruption by tracking FinTech companies.
• Designed and implemented backend API’s in Rails, followed TDD (Test Driven Development) by providing extensive code coverage in RSpec. Extensive use of Rails ActiveRecord & Raw SQL queries as applicable.
• Built integrations to external sources such as CapitalIQ & Mattermark, used RSpec for code coverage
• Implemented Background jobs using Redis/Resque, leveraged Resque Scheduler and Delayed Jobs.
• Implemented partial single page applications in Angular JS – wrote directives, controllers, services and front end HTML
• Built dynamic front-end pages in erb/Haml, followed BDD (Behavior Driven Development) by authoring tests in Capybara.
