Happy to chat. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Uptycs Jan 2024 – Present | Waltham, MA • Integrated Uptycs Osquery fork for IBM AIX into the principal Osquery repository, created a Jenkins pipeline for CI, eliminated additional developer time spent on the AIX fork, and increased developer efficiency. • Implemented heartbeats to ensure the osquery daemon is healthy on AIX using the POSIX shared memory API. • Built a custom Yara-based file-scanning feature, which limits excessive memory usage when scanning large files, thereby making memory growth predictable when scanning huge files. • Made Improvements to socket events and user events detection on AIX by using data provided by the Audit framework on AIX. • Implemented full memory snapshotting on Linux without the requirement of a Kernel Module. environments. • Contributed to Uptycs CSPM platform by integrating high-volume security telemetry from multiple IBM Cloud services, including IAM, Container Management (Kubernetes & OpenShift), Key Protect, and Hyper Protect Crypto Services. This Journal system is written in Go and is used to regenerate the last known loan state data if there is any system failure. • Worked on getting observability into our systems by leveraging Cloud-native tools like Prometheus and Grafana. • Built an in-house pub-sub system that we are using to stream Loan Information when a loan is created/updated to our Android and web app users so that the web app can have the most recent loan application info removing the need for polling the backend to get the most recent loan information. Also implemented event queuing functionality for offline clients. • Built Integrations with various third-party APIs/services like HDFC Life, IDFY OCR, Knowlarity, and Razorpay for providing functionality like payments, Tele Verification, and other services. ### Software Engineer @ Uptycs Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Bengaluru, Karnataka, India • Worked on an event generator that can generate thousands of events per second to test the number of events being sent to our Uptycs cloud platform from osquery and analyze the percentage of events being dropped due to memory constraints at the endpoint level • Worked on creating an interface to manipulate the state of containers on multiple runtimes i.e. docker, crio, contained from osquery. • Worked on building an osquery integration for ip6tables similar to the existing iptables integration which in turn is used for enhancing our blocking capabilities. • Built our package detection capability for Arch Linux and Arch Linux-based distros like manjaro and integrated it into osquery.
