First engineering hire at a startup in the Dark Kitchen industry.

As part of my role I helped with:

- Backend engineering: Data ingestion, API integrations and backend feature development in TypeScript
- Data infrastructure: ELT pipelines from numerous sources internal and external (Airbyte, Fivetran, Custom Built), orchestration of data ingestion / transformation, transforming our raw ingested data (dbt, DAG based workflows, SQL), managing our data warehouse and building dashboards.

Full stack engineering & DevOps / platform engineering including a large replatforming project from ECS on EC2 to ECS Fargate for gov.uk/pay, the inbound payments service for central and local government.
