# Roshni Nanwani > Product Designer at SnackMagic Location: New York City Metropolitan Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/roshni I have worked within the design industry for three years at an architecture and master planning firm and have now transitioned from designing physical to digital spaces. As an architectural designer, I worked in multi-disciplinary teams to collaborate ideas and worked with constraints to bring a building to life. At the core of my methodology, I have consistently focused on design thinking, ideation and iteration. My progression from architecture to user experience design derived from the desire to include the experience and emotion of the user into my designs. Within architecture my research was focused on the context of the project and its impact on the built environment. Building upon this experience, I became fascinated by the implications of adding user research and insight from data into my design and understanding ‘why’ I make each decision. I am enjoying this collaborative and creative field, growing more with each project and taking on new challenges that will help me surpass my limits. ## Work Experience ### Product Designer @ SnackMagic Jan 2021 – Present | New York, New York, United States ### Product Designer @ NewDay Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | London, England, United Kingdom ### Teaching Assistant @ General Assembly Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 A 10 week part-time course, I am supporting 10 students to learn an introduction to the UX processes and methodologies. I attended pre-construction meetings and traveled for site visits to meet with clients. At MWAP, I worked in multiple scales, from small individual buildings to a proposal for a 1,000 acre master-plan of the Bahamas. For this master plan, I generated a proposal book to market the design for a presentation in the Bahamas. I created drawings and presentation materials with Revit, Adobe Suite and AutoCAD, and participated with schematic designs based on objectives and outcomes of client.
