Leading design in Cash Management and Risk & ID for large and small businesses. ### Staff Product Designer @ Wise Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | London, England, United Kingdom Powering money for people and businesses: to pay, to get paid, to spend, in any currency, wherever they are, whatever they're doing. My team's mission is to help Wise users discover and adopt the products that help them get paid internationally. • As a staff product designer I'm responsible for delivering results for more than one team, owning and driving high impact products and influence squad level planning. • I worked with the Singapore office on a go-to-market-strategy to launch a beta version of Wise Business in India. I designed a localised version of the Wise business product allowing customers in India to get paid by international clients. The product has gained over 25k users in the first 6 months. • I designed an in-network payment experience called Pay with Wise that allows Wise users to pay Wise payment requests instantly, for free. 20% of all Wise payment requests have been paid using this experience. • I designed and ran in-depth research project to help understand how Wise Business customers use the product to get paid in order to increase the adoption of our account details. This helped build deep customer empathy across my team and squad and identified specific, actionable insights and opportunity areas within the product. ### Lead Product Designer @ Pollinate Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 | London, England, United Kingdom Reconnecting banks and businesses through payments. Led an extensive series of internal mapping exercises and stakeholder interviews with the goal of helping the organisation become more product led and customer centric. Through this process I identified a prioritised list of opportunities for the product teams and wider business to go after in order to achieve this goal. The immediate result was a set of product and experience maps that have changed the way the wider business understands and talks about Pollinate's product experience. ### Senior Product Designer @ Intuit Jan 2017 – Jan 2021 | London, United Kingdom • Lead Product Designer for Fintech Services - Led the design strategy, research and execution of a radically new product for small business owners that automates their business finances so they can focus on running their business. • Led research and design for SmartScan, Quickbooks UK's first feature contribution. SmartScan led the UK’s largest marketing push ever, reaching over 5,7m people and generating 38m views. SmartScan helped deliver 12% total new subscriber growth for QuickBooks UK within 6 months. SmartScan was awarded the 'Leadership Team Innovation of the Year" in recognition of its impact. • Led the redesign of the E2E VAT tax experience in QuickBooks to align with new tax legislations that dramatically changed tax requirements for our customers. Working closely with HMRC and our customers we shipped the first experience in the UK to allow customers to connect with HMRC’s platform and file their taxes digitally. This resulted in a 133% increase in PRS (18-42) for the tax experience. • I am an Innovation Catalyst, committing 10% of my time to helping others learn and apply design thinking methodologies, customer backed research approaches and problem solving techniques. • 
I mentored designers in storytelling, workshop design & facilitation, and the adoption of new tools. • I coached and mentored design interns and junior designers about design, Intuit's tools, and processes. ### Senior Product Designer @ Kobalt Music Jan 2016 – Jan 2017 | London, United Kingdom Kobalt is an independent music services company for artists, songwriters, publishers and labels. I worked on B2B and B2C products for various business units focusing on interaction design & development, with a broader goal of establishing product and human-centered design processes within the business. • Led the design overhaul of the “Uploader” Audio Distribution Tool, a B2C app used by musicians and record labels to distribute works through Spotify and iTunes. The new experience increased the acceptance rate of submissions by 125% and a 30% reduction time for albums to go live. • Determined and led a new UI and interaction design strategy by establishing our target user and a refreshed vision experience. This led to the development of a new design framework with a focus on an iterative and modular product strategy for the AWAL platform (a Kobalt subsidiary). • Led the design and delivery of the AWAL design system using the new design strategy. This was delivered with an extensible React component library, resulting in Kobalt's first living design language and GUI Storybook. ### Product Designer @ Reevoo Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 | London, United Kingdom Reevoo makes things that help brands engage with, listen to and learn from their customers. I assumed the role of lead Product designer developing existing and new client facing B2B products as well as exploring and designing new B2C products. • Led the interaction design for “Experiences”, a digital solution that collects and displays rich user-generated content. The high-level goal was to create a new online display system driven by user’s expectations and limitations, with the outcome of aiding them in making the right purchase decisions. • Led the design for a new Client Portal, a client facing web platform. I redesigned the experience by driving a customer backed approach as well as creating a responsive product based off of Google’s Material Design. • Led the design of Reevoo’s analytics and insight app; a data-driven product aimed at providing clients with insights around Reevoo’s services. With the use of workshops, expert and user interviews we developed a product that concisely and thoughtfully displayed analytics and insights surfacing behavioural data and perceptions of a client’s brand. ### Integrated Designer @ Reevoo Jan 2014 – Jan 2015 | London, United Kingdom Reevoo makes things that help brands engage with, listen to and learn from their customers. As Integrated designer I worked alongside the design, product and marketing teams on projects and products ranging from the overhauled Reevoo website to interaction design for Reevoo's "Client Portal". • Self-initiated the creation of a new design system and set of overarching UI and UX principles, my goal being a living design system that could be applied to existing and new products, revamping Reevoo’s focus on interaction design and user experience. ### Integrated Designer @ RØERING CREATIVE KIN Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 | 1 Brian St, cnr Peter Place, Lyme Park, Sandton Roering Creative is a full-service communications agency providing art direction, copywriting, motion graphics and interactive design. As an integrated designer I worked on graphic, print and digital design projects for a variety of clients. • Led the redesign of the S&D car auctioneers website, focused on delivering an improved user experience. This also included an innovative live auction website to accompany the primary consumer facing site. • Led the website design for the Discovery Financial Planning summit. The site included an interactive agenda and speakers list. • Led the design for the Consultant Quarterly Magazine.
