Working in the Tech Industry requires constant recycling of knowledge and paradigms. That is why I am glad I chose to major in Engineering. The effort needed to complete its intense program shaped the way I learn and deeply improved my problem solving skills.

In the beginning I had no clue what those C pointers were doing on that black command-line screen. Fast-forward some years and here I am, loving every second of the process of shaping the world with the power of computing.

During this period I faced numerous challenges and learned various skills and technologies, which I summarized below:

• 8 years of experience in Web Services with focus on RESTful APIs built with Python, NodeJS and PHP. Some of the frameworks used throughout those years include FastAPI, Flask, AdonisJS, ExpressJS and Slim. The databases used were both Relational or NoSQL, namely MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB and RealmDB. On the networking side NginX acted as the web server or reverse proxy.

• 3 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Developed classification, clustering, optimization and search applications using techniques such as Genetic Algorithm, K-NN, K-means, PSO and Neural Networks.

• DevOps mindset to improve the scalability, availability and performance of applications in cloud environments. Majority of the work was structured as Microservices and deployed in Docker containers on AWS using services such as EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, ELB, IAM, ElasticBeanstalk, ECS, Lambda, EventBridge, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Secrets Manager, Route53 and CloudWatch.

Recently, financial sector topics such as Derivatives Market, Quantitative Finance, Technical Analysis and Asset Management sparked my interest in the field. (If you’re into this, let's talk!).

In my spare time I study Astrophysics and get mad because we still don't have the technology to provide affordable space travel. (SpaceX, hurry up please).
