# Rubin S. > Engineer Shippo | Fmr. Meraki, Branch Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/rubin Currently helping CS + Sales + Product in a technical support capacity. Bio Most recently, Rubin worked at Founders Fund backed Branch Metrics where he helped grow the Integration Engineering team — the most technical customer-facing team to date, from 4 individuals to 10. The team was involved with long-tail customers launching their apps for the first time. Later, as Branch started to offer paid products, Integration Engineering played a crucial role in the success of large enterprise accounts such as Pinterest, Airbnb. When Rubin wasn't helping developers integrate Branch into their stacks he found himself fixing bugs and adding features to Branch’s WebSDK — the SDK that received the most traffic at Branch that would in-turn drive traffic to mobile apps. Leadership saw a budding engineer in him and decided to move him to a Full-Stack Engineering role where he developed features for the frontend as well as for various Java/Node services. Prior to Branch, Rubin worked at Cisco-Meraki where he was one of two engineers supporting an MDM product called Systems Manager. He successfully onboarded and supported hundreds of customers via phone calls and in support cases. Later, realizing that Rubin has development chops, leadership evolved his role to Application Developer. In this capacity he delivered on a number of high impact projects over a short period of time. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer, Internal Tools @ Shippo Jan 2023 – Present ### Team Lead, Integrations @ Shippo Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 ### Technical Support Engineer @ Shippo Jan 2020 – Jan 2022 | San Francisco, California, United States Key Responsibilities: - Escalate production bugs to engineering team leads - Provide light bug fixes across the stack (as time permits) - Build tooling (as time permits) - Assist sales, customer success with high volume partners technically - Hire rockstars in technical support Shippo brings businesses closer to their customers by making shipping effortless.
